Charles and his wife Raquel were some of the first volunteers to be part of Gateway back in 1998. A few years later, Charles left his role in the business world to serve Gateway on staff. His first week on the job was literally spent “putting out fires.” The building where Gateway was meeting caught fire and had to be restored in 6 days.
When not extinguishing fires or ‘strategerizing’ for Gateway, Charles can be found chasing his kids around Austin, dodging cars on his bicycle, searching for his golf balls on the golf course, camping in the wilderness, or traveling the globe.
